CSIX CONNECT, the premier Silicon Valley non-profit organization for people in career transition, was founded by Hamid Saadat in 2001 at the advent of the dotcom bust to assist those in career transition to improve their probability of landing jobs quickly. Career assistance is based on a combination of personal networking and career transition education. Personal networking is facilitated at weekly luncheon meetings by seating at tables in small groups. Such arrangement helps to facilitate direct personal interaction. Regular programs provide insights and tips that are of great benefits to job seekers, allowing them to practice and enhance their job searching skills.
